Our happy customers:

The whole process from from start to finish was effortless and fun! Elsbeth's knowledge about her fleet of bikes was invaluable to the selection of which bike would best-fit my needs. Naturally, of course, I now want to own one! When I'm ready to buy she'll be the first person I call.

Elsbeth & Four Star Family Cyclery were superb from the very beginning. My initial email was responded to promptly and we were given options that even included other mechanics due to Four Star Family's busy schedule. We opted to wait, and Elsbeth and her head mechanic came to our house to work on our cargo bike. They spent ample time correcting a severe wheel wobble, fixing the small details we didn't know (or ask) about, and ensuring our cargo bike was safe to ride. It's great that Chicago finally has a dedicated cargo bike mechanic, and one who will actually visit your home! All businesses should be as customer focused as Four Star Family - they were truly wonderful to work with!

Four Star Family Cyclery makes it so easy –and fun!–for someone like me, a mom who hadn't cycled regularly in over a decade, to get my whole family out on bicycles and get to all the places we need to go, with all the stuff we need to bring along, in car-free happiness.

We rented a bike with a Yepp seat for our one-year old son. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. She communicated quickly and clearly and took the time to explain the ins and outs of the bike and riding with a child to make us feel at ease. If you're looking to rent or purchase a bike for your family, I highly recommend reaching out to her. Thanks, Elsbeth!
